Not exactly sure what the thinking was behind the formation of that conference. You had two teams from the former Buckeye Conference and three from the former Central Ohio League. I don't know if the hope at the time was to create some type of state-wide power league or if it was just a stop-gap measure for the schools involved. Higher Sporting Costs, Traveling Costs and ect, (Possible) Reduction in Home Games, due to desperation to fill out schedules.

Just stating simple facts, as I think the majority of people feel the GBC will cease to exist soon unless something drastic were to happen, which I doubt it because who would join a failing league

Going Independent will not bother me, but lets face it. Not many people will want to go to Columbus or even down south to Cincinnati for a Week 6 or 7 Non Conference Game.
