They fell behind by 12 early in the game and eventually took the lead by one in the third. My guess is that they didn't come back; however, I will say that I believe this team has potential.
No, they won't 12 games, but they will be competitive.
There was no "Gamble" on the team.
The starters were Carnicom (had about 14 when I left), Jordan Jones (about 16 and I thought he was a great pg/leader tonight), Darien Spann (had about 12 when I left), Andrew House, and Jake Hiestand. Only two others were "varsity players."
I thought this team, if they stay out of foul trouble can cause problems.
Oregon was "lights out" in the 1st quarter but then Fremont held Oregon to just 25 points over the next 2 quarters.
The JV team lost by about 10 but again, I think they played okay.
Clay will be a middle of the road TCL team.
I see Ross finishing about 3rd/4th in the GBC behind Findlay/Lima.
One last note, Carnicom is a very good player. He had a tremendous 2-hand dunk on a rebound where he soared over everyone.
