* I attend as many boy's games as I can. They are a good place to catch up with people from the community and also the Little Giants play pretty well at home most of the time.

Curious: Do you attend Ross games? Boys/Girls? Only the home games? All of them? If so, what do you like about them? If not, why not?

Use to but the gym is tooooooooooooooooooooo small. Can't focus on the games when you are sitting elbow to elbow, plus having to let people by is
something else. Bigger gym would bring more money to the school because they would get tournment games.

That's a good point as well. Didn't Fremont used to hold girl's tournament games? If I remember correctly, my sister who played for Lakota used to
play at Fremont Ross for their tournament games in the late 80's/early 90's.
As for "elbow to elbow" only during the Sandusky games and senior night the other night. Otherwise, there's been plenty of room this season. Come back and be a supporter of Ross basketball again. |

The Purple Pit hasn't packed out in years. I remember going to games where if we weren't there by the JV tipoff, we were sitting on the stage. Now you
can always get a decent seat unless you are one of those people who like to show up 5 minutes before varsity tip.
The elbow to elbow and letting people thru...well you're gonna have that everywhere unless you goto an NBA game. |

The Purple Pit will be hosting a girls sectional round in basketball again this year.
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most. |

I didn't forget because I didn't know. Glad that they did it last year and are continuing to do it.

I know in the late 80s/early 90s, the Purple Pit did host the Division III Boys Sectionals as Gibsonburg, Huron, etc played there. At that time, I remember
Ross, Sandusky, Manfield, etc playing at the Norwalk Middle School.

Absolutely. It is important to support basketball. I, too, wish I had the means to assist in the re-building of the gym. It has looked this way for too long.
Just think of the money Ross could make by hosting tournaments just as the stadium is home to play-off games.
